Kim & Jered's Coffee Shop Proposal
Last weekend I had the honor of photographing something VERY special... My sister-in-law's proposal! Kim's boyfriend, Jered, asked her to meet him for coffee at the spot where they had their first date, The Foundry Coffee House in Tyler, and she had absolutely no idea it was coming!
On their first date, Jered was dressed in work clothes because he had come straight from his job. In order to not arouse suspicion, Jered told Kim that he had to work and wanted to meet her for coffee before he went in. He ended up wearing the same outfit he wore on their very first date, while she showed up in workout clothes so she could head to the gym after.
Corbin and I hid across the street in a parking garage to capture their special moment. We didn't have to wait long before Jered got down on one knee, pulled out a beautiful ring, and asked Kim to marry him. She went from shocked to crying to laughing joyfully. It was so sweet! They laughed and celebrated together over coffee while we captured a few candids.
Afterward, we all went over to my in-laws' house to celebrate the wonderful news. We are so happy for them and enjoyed capturing this once-in-a-lifetime moment!
