Winter Engagement Photos in Colorado

This was a special engagement session for me because not only is Harrison my cousin, I've also known Lindsay since I was in the 4th grade, so we've been friends for almost 18 years!

Lindsay and Harrison are so freaking cute together, as you'll see in this blog post, and on top that, they are troopers for sticking it out in the cold weather to get these photos. Our car dashboard literally said it was 3 degrees outside when we pulled up on the mountain in Pagosa Springs. We would get out and take some photos and then jump back in the car to warm up for a few minutes - it was that cold! I'm so impressed by photographers who shoot weddings in the winter in the cold states, because Texas winters just don't compare!

We started this session on a park road with the beautiful mountains in the background and ended it in downtown Pagosa Springs with the hot springs steaming in the background. It was very cold but also so crisp and bright and gorgeous! I loved getting to spend time with these two and can't wait to photograph their wedding next month in East Texas!
